How many mints are in a box?

What if someone ate ALL the mints?!

would that be bad for their diet?

Here's some insight you might not be aware of; cigars have zero calaries. I would suggest a Cohiba Churchill. Think of the calories saved by having the cigar as opposed to that big 'ole plate of lasagna. What's the bonus you ask?? The sweet breath you will be able to share with the lovely wife. No need to thank me for this bit of advice, you are most certainly welcome.

That Tic-Tac info is very good. But, did you know that a cigar has zero calories. I have found that a Cohiba Churchill does the trick. I would suggest that anyone who wants to lose weight have a cigar instead of that big 'ole plate of lasagna. What's the added benefit you ask?? The added benefit is the wonderful breath that you bring home to the wife.

Thank you for your question Shannon. I believe I can answer that. Let's say there were 50 mints per box. Ok? Now let's also say that each individual mint were 2 calories. According to the Mint people this is accurate. Now we shall multiply 2 calories times 50 mints and reach a total of 100 calories per box. What if there are 1oo mints per container? well just multiply 100 X 2 to get the grand total. 200 calories per box. Still, I say well within the range of healthy. The next question is, " what is the individual serving size"? Perhaps this is irrelevant. Any way you slice it- tic tacs are low in calories and make your breath smell fresh as a Spring Aster.

Michael, Those of us on staff at "The Iguana Bar and Grill" send out a hearty thank you for the cigar facts. I have been known to light one up once every February. Although it's not usually a fine Cuban but a raunchy "Swisher sweet".

Is it me, or does two calories a TINY mint seem like a lot?

the entire plastic box that contains the mints is only 5/8 of an OUNCE. If there are 50 calories per container and two calories per mint how would we equate the mints with say, a 16 oz bag of chips? IS my math correct to say that a pound of mints is roughly 1500 calories?

Did you know a 16 oz bag of potato chips has roughly 2,000 calories? That's a tad over 1 lb of tic-tac's. I think potato chip manufacturers should advertise that one chip has only 2 1/2 calories!
